Salary:
£21,500 - £23,500 dependent on experience.


Holidays: 20 days (inc. bank holidays) per annum

Our homes are developed and set up in a way that represents family living; there are routines, boundaries and rules to follow however, the staff team are recruited to their ability and skills to be compassionate, supportive, nurturing and fair.


Mealtimes are representative of those within a family home, the team and young people are encouraged to eat together where ever possible; social events include everyone and are planned by the young people; Birthdays and religious events are celebrated and young people are encouraged to socialise with friends and family in the home where this has been agreed and deemed appropriate by social care.


We are expanding so we are recruiting
As a young person's Support Worker, you will be expected to carry out the following tasks (this list is not exhaustive):

  • Inspire young people to achieve their aspirations
  • Provide young people a guiding hand and support to enable them to live independently
  • Encourage and promote selfadvocacy and/or advocate on behalf of the young person
  • Carry out the role of 'support worker' for individual young people including associated tasks and completion of regular reports and review of relevant plans and assessments.
  • Engage in the day to day running of the home including planning and participating in activities, provision of meals and all engagement required by the young people.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and review of individual support plans, risk assessments and daily case note records
  • Organise and take part in outings and inhouse activities
  • Ensure thoroughly planned and consistent support packages are provided, working in partnership with others to ensure a consistent and planned approach is taken
  • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance and security of the building, including fire prevention
  • Develop and maintain close links with the local community, voluntary organisations, voluntary helpers, police, social care, CAMHS and any other relevant professionals
  • Visit young people in their own homes, providing a floating support service.

Skills and Experience


Experience of working with children, families and young people are preferred and favoured during the selection process however, Limitless welcome applicants who are willing to train and learn.

If not already qualified, Limitless will provide you with NVQ Health and Social Care level 3 qualification and all other relevant training for you to carry out your role to an outstanding level.

You will require an Enhanced DBS check which the company will arrange.

You will be over 21 years of age and have the use of own car.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references. References provided must cover the last 3 years.
