Centrepoint, the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Fundraising Administrator to join our Fundraising based in London.
About us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently.
Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment.
We want to end youth homelessness by 2037_._Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The Fundraising Department at Centrepoint is a high performing team of just over 40 people with an income of approx.
The Department is made up of Individual Giving & Legacies, Mass Participation & Events, Corporate Partnerships, Philanthropy and Trust & Statutory teams to ensure the best possible experiences of Centrepoint for supporters and donors.
The Fundraising Strategy & Operations team underpins this work by supporting all the processes and systems that enable this work.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide administration to the overall Fundraising team, supporting the team to meet its goals
- Gather requirements and coordinate major meetings for Director and Heads of Fundraising teams and support with necessary paperwork XX
- Complete Level 3 Fundraiser Apprenticeship
- Undertake regular data quality checks and some financial processes (including yearend), ensuring compliance and reconciliation takes place on a regular basis
- Support recruitment, manage the new starter and leavers process and support with coordination of new staff members into the Fundraising team
- Support the Fundraising Comms & Marketing Officer with relevant internal and external communications
- Provide diary management and minor administrative support to the Director
- Promote the work of the team internally and externally in order to raise its profile
