CAD Technician | Wigan | Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm | £22, £30,00.00 per year depending on experience
DBR Builders is a highly successful property development company with over a decade of experience. We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician for our team.

You will be working with a dynamic team and will be responsible for the CAD design of new projects.


You will work on varying scales of projects in a fast-paced environment taking our schemes through to completion including QS packages, building regulations packages, CDM 2015, and construction packages.

Are you the right person for us?

Experience/Knowledge

  • CAD Designer/Technician or similar
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
  • Construction drawings
- residential and multi-residential schemes


KeyAttributes

  • Knowledge of producing working technical drawings and specifications
  • Hardworking with an eye for detail
  • Knowledge of technical legislation, including current Building Regulations & Planning
  • Legislation
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
modelling software packages

  • Varied Project experience
  • Ability to take projects from conception to completion.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Full driving licence

What will your role as a CAD Technician look like?

  • To assist in designing and developing all projects, specifically to produce Computer-Aided Design work as required
  • To work closely with the Site/Project Manager in producing plans, construction detailing, planning submission drawings and building regulation submission details
  • To prepare plans and details for Local Authority, clients, structural engineer
  • Conduct site visits and surveys, when required
  • Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project
  • Maintain accurate records, including drawing registers
  • Ensure that drawing approvals are met within the project deadlines
  • Identify potential problems and create solutions
