About the Role

Base Location:
Peterhead Power Station


Salary:
£26,609 - £30,472 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.


Working Pattern:

SSE Thermal are recruiting an Administrator to join their Process Support function based at Peterhead Power Station.

In this role, you will support the tasks necessary for providing an efficient, customer focussed Process Support function to the Station.


Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for administrative tasks arising from process change procedures including;
  • Completing data entry, processing, and evaluation for effective monitoring of the station's Health Safety and Environmental (SHE) performance.
  • Delivery of relevant Thermal and Corporate SHE Initiatives.
  • Maintenance of digital documents, the management of Sharepoint and Teams sites.
  • Completion of local HR administrative tasks.
  • Provide ad hoc general administrative support when required from other teams at the station.

What do I need?

  • S/NVQ Level 2 in Administration and / or previous administrative experience.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills; this role is a busy one and will allow you an opportunity to learn about our business and interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You'll be a great team player and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You must be computer literate with an excellent working knowledge of Office 365.
