If you have a flair for creativity, a genuine love of content creation and social media, and want to work for a forward-thinking trailblazer in the property development space, this could be the opportunity your career has been edging towards.

The Job...

Working in a close-knit marketing team of 3 (plus you) and reporting to the experienced Head of Marketing, you'll be creating content across digital platforms for all group businesses.

This is a multi-faceted property development firm with a diverse portfolio of projects to keep things interesting for you, including residential homes, workspaces, and neighbourhoods with independent bars, cafes, eateries and events.

You'll be a real go-getter and will love to bring your own ideas to the table and go out and create content, write copy, and report back on what's working best across different platforms.

You'll be key to driving engagement and increasing followers across social media, contributing to the growth of the business and you'll also get stuck in with other marketing activities, including paid ad campaigns, events and updating websites.

It's a full-time role, with hybrid working (usually 3 or 4 days a week from their Manchester office) and there will also be travel to their sites and occasional working away for events further afield.

Typically the role is Monday - Friday, however there will be occasional evening and weekend work to help out with events (of course, you'll get this "out of hours" work time back).

You'll be responsible for:

  • Planning and making creative and engaging social media content, tailoring content for different audiences and platforms.
  • Growing social media across all channels.
  • Shooting quality photographs and videos using an iPhone and DSLR for social media, website, brochures, & presentations, and planning shoots in advance to get the most out of each shoot.
  • Creating web assets such as images, videos, graphics and updating websites.
  • Keeping up to date with digital and social marketing trends and channels.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the performance of digital channels.
  • Collaborating with the design and marketing teams and responding to briefs.
  • Supporting with event management.
  • Interviewing industry professionals for video and blog posts.

About You...

As the Marketing & Content Executive, you'll be developing and creating content for multiple platforms including the website, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.

When you're not out and about shooting photos and videos, you'll also get to help the wider marketing function across activities such as paid ads, organising and hosting events (with travel now and then across the country for certain events), and updating websites.

Here's some of the key experience you'll need to demonstrate:

  • 1+ years experience in creating engaging social media content from concept to delivery, considering the company's priorities and aims.
  • A good understanding of how social media platforms work organically and how to adapt content for paid ads.
  • Understanding of different audiences and the ability to tailor content to them.
  • A proactive attitude you'll be the type of person who takes initiative to find out or learn what you need to.
  • The ability to work efficiently and ensure best use of time and getting the most out of the content you produce.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and video editing software.
  • Experience in Hubspot would certainly make you stand out.
