We have an exciting opportunity to join our UK Credit Services team on a part time (21 hours per week) 6 month fixed term contract (this could be considered as a secondment opportunity) as a Credit Controller.


The purpose of this role is to work across the UK Credit Services Team from Amazon, Key Accounts, Non-Trade and our National team assisting where the workload is highest.

The work involved will be a variety, from customer claims resolution to credit control activities reducing the overall risk of bad debt.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Cash Collection on covering various Customer Accounts for PRH and our 3rd Party Publishers
  • Query Management to ensure quick resolution, meeting business needs and targets
  • Proactive payment chasing reducing the risk of bad debt
  • Manage high value/high volumes of claims/marketing deductions via excel spreadsheets
  • Full monthly/weekly reconciliations, taking ownership of allocated accounts
  • Balancing priorities to meet deadlines and agreed month end targets
  • A contact for the customer to direct all queries to
  • Liaise directly with publishers and customers to ensure disputes are settled in a timely manner
  • Liaise with our Internal Customers such as Sales, Customer Services, Warehouse to assist with claims resolution and build awareness of reoccurring issues.
  • Liaise with our carriers (Parcelforce, Primeline, DHL and Pallet Carriers).
  • Develop market awareness and commercial knowledge of PRH and 3rd Party Publishers
  • Updating Customer Relationship Management Systems & In House systems

What you'll bring to the role:

  • This role will suit someone who is team focused and self-motivated. You will be confident working individually on your own workload and hitting deadlines, whilst being part of a wider team.
  • A good team player with good communication skills.
  • You will possess strong IT and systems skills including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage but not essential.

Salary:
£22,700 FTE (£13,620 pro rated) per annum, plus benefits
