Management Accountant

We are proud to be working exclusively with our award-winning Client within the Hospitality sector seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team.

Responsible for the accounting and reporting of three of the companies that constitutethe Partnership.

You will be based on site at their offices in Ingatestone.

The Management Accountant should be highly organised, have excellent IT Skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage a complex and varied workload.

With experience of having worked in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Tasks

Produce monthly management accounts in accordance with group timetable
Produce weekly/monthly reports to the major shareholder showing the financial

position of the business.

Ensure that purchase orders are raised for all purchases across the business and

ensuring that the group purchasing system for the company in question is maintained

correctly and all queries investigated and resolved to ensure that month end accruals

are correct.

Compare actual performance against budget / tender
Monitor and report on profit % targets.
Ensure that all takings are reconciled to company bank account (credit card, cash etc)
Monthly reconciliation of company balance sheet
Liaise with Head Office/purchase ledger administrator/Managing Director over supplier

payments

To produce company annual budgets with Managing Director
To produce year end files & reconciliations for annual statutory audit.
Cover for other members of the finance team during periods of holiday / sickness etc
To positively promote the Partnership at all times
