RMS are recruiting for a long-standing leader in fabrication and manufacturing based near Stockton-on-Tees, who are looking for a sheet metal worker to join the busy team on a permanent basis.

This role is on day shift basis with an early finish on a Friday. The pay rate is £14.97 normal time and then overtime when available on top.


Responsibilities include:

  • Cut and bend sheet metal to size
  • You will also be using hand tools and guillotines when needed
  • Welding
  • Reading and Interpreting engineering drawings
  • Time served or NVQ level 3 in a fabrication or welding discipline.
  • Experience in using hand measuring and marking tools.
  • Experience in operating press brake & guillotine.
  • Experience using sheet metal
  • Ability to mark correctly and consistently.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£14.97 per hour
