The role:


The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for helping to build the networks of our institutes and distribute our meetings and publications content.

You will design and employ marketing devices to enhance lead generation and meeting attendance.

You will ensure that we distribute bespoke research and reports effectively to the right sophisticated financial audiences around the world.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in managing website content, tracking and report traffic statistics.
  • Working with the institute meetings teams to curate and build audiences for events, using our existing network and leveraging networks of institutional contacts.
  • Creating marketing plans and assisting in their execution.
  • Build and manage social media communities on LinkedIn, Twitter, including maintaining, reporting and tracking.
  • Assisting in the creation of marketing collateral for social media with the Adobe suite.
  • Inhouse video recording and editing or liaising with outsourced editors where necessary.
  • Event photography.
  • Creating media kits and client marketing activity documents.
  • Tracking and data analysis of marketing output and evaluate the success of collateral in member communications and coordinate/build where appropriate.
  • Monitor and analyse readership, response rate, followers, website traffic etc.
  • Help develop and implement effective operational functions, internal systems, processes and policies for content, relationship and database management (Salesforce) to promote business opportunities.
  • Review the communications scheduling processes and enhance where necessary, ensuring members receive an appropriate volume of communications and messages do not compete.

The ideal applicant will have:


  • Understanding of or willingness to learn marketing principles, developments and new techniques.
  • Experience in publishing/distributing content.
  • Knowledge/interest in international affairs, economics, financial markets, and policy.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe and Photoshop, with Premiere Pro experience desirable.
  • Excellent written communication.
  • Bachelor's degree: marketing/branding, events, communications, or related (or equivalent experience).
  • Some experience in subediting and proof reading.

  • Tech and social media savvy.
  • Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a dynamic environment and multitask.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
