Our Supply Chain Analyst plays a crucial role in helping to achieve our business growth strategy.

They assist by managing the day to day supply chain operational requirements in a timely, effective & conscientious manner and act as the primary interface within the operations team for system & data analysis relating to operational planning & forecasting activity.


Key Responsibilities:


Demand Planning

  • To act as the interface for the business in collating key sales, production and stock data to provide future stock modelling & forecasts.
  • To use the tools available to create detailed diagnostics for demand planning, stock levels and S&OP planning.
  • To assist Production Management with detailing capacity plans and the direct correlation to output.

Procurement

  • To collaborate with the Procurement team, provide data and analysis to enable data driven decision making to meet the Redwood Global business plans.
  • To ensure the MRP system is accurate and maintained to provide quality information for material scheduling & planning purposes.

BOM Management

  • To act as the interface for the creation & management of the Supply Chain elements of system BOM's.
  • To perform validation checks on the cost elements within the BOM structures, ensuring any discrepancies are corrected in line with business requirements and in agreement with major stakeholders.

Works Order Management

  • To create and manage subcontract orders & production Works Orders.
  • Back flushing.

Project Management

  • To assist the Procurement Manager on specific businessrelated projects that directly impact Supply Chain & demand forecasting.
  • To create, maintain and publish Supply Chain related processes and procedures as required by the business and in agreement with the Procurement Manager.

General Duties:


  • To promote value for money & effectiveness through the removal of waste systems & process, driving excellence in all that we do through continuous improvement.
  • To maintain an overall understanding of the risks and implications associated with the requirements of the role and take appropriate action to mitigate any potential consequences.
  • To comply fully with the Code of Conduct, health and safety requirements, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • To attend meetings or provide services outside of the usual working hours where reasonably requested to do so.

Person specification:


Relevant experience


3 years + previous experience within a Demand Planning, Supply Chain or Procurement function within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Educated to A -Level standard or beyond with CIPS or equivalent Supply Chain Qualification or working toward.


Engineering background and/or the ability to read understand and explain engineering drawings and/or working knowledge of Solid Works strongly preferred.


Skills
Able to communicate confidently with outside suppliers and employees at all levels and to persuade and influence people.

Ability to work independently, think creatively, solve problems; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions and take initiative.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to assimilate data from various sources and synthesize inputs into actionable, cost-effective plans.
