Do you have experience in payment administration and managing account remediations?


Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are looking for a
Payment Processor to join our Operations team in our
Uxbridge office.


This is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial training period) of three days per week office attendance.


Main Responsibilities of a Payment Processor:

  • To deliver accurate and timely processing of mortgage administration activities and other various daily tasks
  • Payment processing activities e.g. uploading payments, reviewing bank statements, and administering refunds
  • Responsible for daily interactions with customers and third parties via telephone and writing, offering excellent customer service throughout
  • To effectively liaise with clients, representing Pepper appropriately
  • Responsible for endtoend servicing of the mortgage from completion to redemption stage
  • To work as part of a wider Primary Servicing team, open to undertaking additional tasks as required to ensure SLAs are delivered

Essential Skills:


  • Experience in banking, accounting, and/or payment processing
  • A good understanding of transactional activities relating to mortgage/loan accounts
  • Experience in identifying and executing accountlevel remediation whilst ensuring accuracy when reviewing account transactions
  • Ability to demonstrate daytoday decisionmaking with adherence to TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) requirements
  • Detailorientated and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to analyse problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions in the appropriate timescales
