Description

Yard Operative required Immediate start, scheduled start also available. Up to £25,000 Per annum Free on-site parking and also accesible via public tansport. working in a modern environment with a fun and friendly team. This is a permanent position inSt Neots.

Working days:
Monday to Friday

Shift: 06:30am to 16:30pm

Salary:
£23,000 to £25,000 per annum

Requirements:

To adhere to production priorities with the exception of unloading deliveries to prevent traffic congestion
To unload deliveries as soon as physically possible to prevent traffic congestion outside the yard
Ensure there is sufficient parking outside the office and be as helpful as possible to find space
To ensure materials are available and on show at anytime ready for collection from any Delivery Driver, Contract Manager, or Sub-Contractor and support them in locating
To prepare materials within the yard ready for driver collection
To assist and cooperate with all Contract Managers, Drivers, Sub-Contractors, and all office staff
Report any discrepancies from job sheets to the Construction Manager
Organise and sort the warehouse, working in conjunction with the Contract Managers
Operate forklift in a safe and sensible manner to 'Experienced Operator' course standards - To be proactive, helpful, and positive at all times
Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
