_We now have an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Preston.

In this role, you will manage all Warehouse & Logistics activities within your remit to ensure all orders are manufactured to quality and cost standards anddelivered in full to our valued customers.

Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience)


Warehouse Manager Duties:


  • Demonstratable experience of managing and leading a multifunctional Warehouse Team
  • Individual contributor with experience of delivering Warehouse & Logistics activities in a demanding and complex environment
  • Demonstrate operational excellence by meeting KPI Targets and carrying out regular review of operational performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills will be key, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple activities in line with business objectives
  • Proven experience of conducting regular stock takes and auditing
  • Operational warehouse responsibility for collaborative and successful working with internal departments
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety matters
  • Experience of Safe systems of work, ensuring overall team meet required safety and quality standards
  • Experience of change management and continuous improvement techniques to drive & implement change as required

Warehouse Manager Requirement:


  • Minimum of 3 years warehouse management experience.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Excellent communicator and effective motivator
  • Ability to build strong relationships within the department and key business stake holders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Safety qualified to NEBOSH General Certificate
  • Customer focused and service minded
