Senior Project Professional - Outcome Management Support
Salary:
From £38,734 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the outcome owners in maintaining a regular forecast performance against each of the Programme Outcomes (Availability, Build Pace & Drumbeat, Warfighting Capability, Cost of Ownership, Enterprise Sustainment, and Delivery Confidence) to determine confidence in outcome achievement at key stages of the programme (i.e., a 'risk burndown chart' in reverse)
- Arranging (upon request) and maintaining a record of the engagement with the independent expert panels for each programme outcome to guide and agree the focus areas
- Supporting the operation of an efficient assurance regime to verify and validate models and their outputs for use in outcome analysis
- Supporting the predictive analysis of proposed change 'scenarios' to support decisionmaking on timing and focus of improvement activities
- Supporting the production of a periodic report to the Programme Board setting out the gaps between required and forecast outturns, together with recommendations to prioritise actions and inform programme decisions
Your skills and experiences:
- Graduate level qualification in project management, engineering/construction or demonstrable equivalent work experience
- Experience in complex programmes or projects
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions, companies and grade structures, and facilitating/influencing decision making at these levels
- Ability to support on the presentation of complex information to stakeholders at all levels
- Good Experience in Microsoft office
- Excel/PowerPoint/Word
- Knowledge of the UK Defence Sector and Submarines Enterprise would advantageous
