Main Duties:


  • Liaising with clients on a daily basis, offering efficient, knowledgeable and courteous service dealing with enquiries and instructions, obtaining accurate and detailed information, in order to provide our clients with the correct service at the required time.
  • Check that all engineers are on site by allocated time. Reporting to S. Groom of any absenteeism, lateness or sickness.
  • Ensuring written confirmation of request for any works has been received prior to sending out an engineer.
  • Inputting all jobs onto the 'Clik' company data base and updating the information regularly.
  • Coordinating others within the team, i.e. quoting dept, health & safety, contracts managers where necessary.
  • All quotation requests must be passed on to quotation department.
  • Allocating the jobs to appropriate engineers or subcontractor if required, liaising with other coordinators.
  • Liaising with field engineers regularly regarding jobs.
  • Ensuring the clients are kept informed and updated regarding their jobs/sites.
  • Updating the 'Clik' data base with all required information relating to the jobs, i.e. price of works if quotation given to client, engineers time on site, materials purchased and cost.
  • Ensuring all paper work is correct i.e. all invoices and engineer job sheets have been received and allocated to the relevant jobs.
  • Liaising with Credit Control to ensure that engineers are not sent to clients whose account is in arrears and assist with credit control measures by dealing promptly with any queries form clients.
  • Assisting where necessary in ensuring smooth running of the office, checking stock of stationary, equipment etc. and informing office manager of any ordering requirements.
  • Complying with all company procedures and in particular Health & Safety procedures and directives.
  • Maintaining a work area that is tidy and free from hazards.
  • Reporting any accidents persons, property or vehicles to company Health & Safety officer.
  • Carrying out adhoc duties as requested by line manager or Director.
