Program Manager - Southampton - £55k


This client is well established firm who are looking to recruit a Program Manager to drive the successful execution of their programs across engineering, gathering program requirements, shaping the nature and order multi-phased releases, within their productportfolio.


Main Duties:


  • Plan, monitor, co-ordinate, and report programs which involve multiple developments with different engineering teams
  • Track status and progress of teams among the different projects
  • Manage and report risks (delivery date, resource availability, dependencies and inconsistencies in product development projects)
  • Create status reports, both high level and detailed, and communicate with all stakeholders, both internal and external

Key skills:


  • 5 years' experience in project/program management in software development/tech industry
  • Prior experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Experience leading customer calls and reporting engineering status
  • Successful delivery of complex or challenging customer requirements

Desirables (not essential):


+Understanding of delivery methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall


  • Understanding of system-of-systems integration, test and acceptance

Salary/Location:


  • The salary is 55kk, depending on experience
  • This position offers hybrid working - Southampton**.
