Fixed Income Product Specialist - Asset Management

The Role:


Our client, an independent, active global asset manager, with £130+ billion AUM are seeking to hire a Fixed Income Product Specialist to their growing Product Specialist function within their Fixed Income team.


In this global role, you will be tasked with working with senior stakeholders from across the global institutional and advisory distribution businesses in elevating strategies to prospective clients and informing and educating existing investors on theirinvestment.

You will act as a crucial link between the portfolio managers and analysts, and the client and marketing functions, with the aim of delivering first class investment related material (pitch packs, RFP, complex data requests, esg reports etc.) thatis consciously designed for the target audience.


Role responsibilities:


  • Responsibility and ownership for the development, creation and maintenance of investment related collateral including client presentations, investment reports, QIRs and RFPs
  • Ensuring that the quality of collateral is to a high standard
  • Efficient and effective responses to queries and requests from clients, consultants and colleagues
  • Supporting client activity across advisory and institutional channels
  • Interacting with clients representing Fixed Income in general and EMD strategies specifically
  • Build strong and pro-active relationships with Client Groups and Marketing
  • Take responsibility for the coordination of the investment blog
  • Provide support for deciding and implementing product strategy
  • Performing competitor analysis and identifying strategy positioning opportunities
  • 3-5 years' industry experience
  • Good grasp of financial markets and knowledge of all asset classes, Emerging Market experience
desired but not essential

  • Sound knowledge of compliance issues
  • Experience of PowerPoint, especially charts and Excel models
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and assimilate information
