Description
We are working exclusively with a large Freehold who is seeking a Technical Leasehold leader to join a Freeholder to manage their teams, reporting in the Board Director.
This business is investing in a high level new role to enable the Director to take on further work on the business environmental agenda.

Our technical teams are responsible for establishing the Freeholders responsibility across our portfolio and enabling the
- Lead the team on all technical approvals for each site
- Work closely with the other functional areas such as Building Safety to ensure a collaborative approach to solutions.
- Understand client strategy, objectives and tactical requirements
- Lease reviews
- Interpreting the Landlords covenants in the Lease to ensure that we are compliant with the terms
- Supporting the team with developing their understanding of lease terms, case law and best practise.
- Assisting the client with developing and implementing an estate sustainability strategy including infrastructure, facilities and operational use of the buildings.
- Review business procedures to ensure that they are inline with best practise and legislation
- Own the budget for the Technical function reporting on costs, headcount and external consultant fees
- Provide value engineered solutions to problems encountered and encourage innovation and constant development within their team
- Lead and develop team to ensure there is a clear succession plan for the Technical function. Where appropriate put in place a recruitment plan and future talent plan to plug any succession gaps
The person
To be successful for this role you will have extensive experience in the Leasehold and technical regulatory requirements required for residential sites in the UK.
A property related qualification at degree level or equivalent
Membership of relevant professional body and familiar with the latest trends and regulatory changes in the UK residential sector.
A natural leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for developing a team
An understanding of working in a role which evolves and a passionate to progress
