Description

As an enthusiastic Business Development Manager, you will guide sales activities by creating great relationships with customers and having an awareness of their needs and the products the company can supply.

You will also take point in negotiating with customersto win profitable orders. This is a full-time position working five days and 37.5 hours per week.

We are a stockist and distributor of electrical components, supplying manufacturers and service companies within the aerospace, defence, medical, industrial, rail and transportation markets throughout the world.


Description
In your first few weeks in this BDM role, you can expect to:

  • Respond to customer requests for quotations, evaluate the options and issue quotes
  • Track open quotations and negotiate to win profitable sales
  • Learn the needs and wants of key customers and position the company as their favourite supplier
  • Continuously learn about the company's supported franchises and products
  • Provide postsales support to your customers to maximise repeat business

Profile

  • A desire to succeed in satisfying customer needs and closing new business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build winning business relationships
  • An enquiring mind to understand the functions and features of the components that the company deals with

Job Offer


In return for your passion, collaborative approach and commitment, you will receive a salary of £25,000-£30,000 plus a bonus scheme of up to £10,000 p/a and a fantastic benefits package, including a statutory pension and 20 days of holiday plus statutoryholidays, rising annually to 30 days maximum.
