Job Summary
Moog Space and Defense Group is looking for a Manual Turner to join the team in Reading.

This is an opportunity to join an industry leading business who manufacture cutting edge technology and offer stability and growth to the those that seek it.


Your role will involve the set up and operation of lathe machines in order to ensure the work allocated to the machine shop is completed to the required quality, accuracy, cost, and timescale.

In addition to this you'll carry out calculations, checking your own high standards of work and using a variety of precision measuring standards


Key Expertise

  • Proven experience in a machine shop environment
  • An indentured apprenticeship, craft or technical qualification is desirable
  • Competent in setting up and using machine tools
  • Confident in using precision measurement equipment.

Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
