Freedom Care are a growing business that have been working with young people and families to improve outcomes for 20 years.

We have a fantastic and professional team within head office and out in the field. We pride ourselves in supporting our team through training, reviews and support when needed. Creating a fantastic relationship and ethos through the company.

We are currently recruiting Supervised Contact Workers to work with a family requiring contact 3 times a week The contact will involve transporting the child from his home to contact and then back.

The contact will be an hour and a half, after school time (3pm) three times a week.

The role is 2 staff to 1 child ratio as the child has specific needs. The child is non verbal and in nappies aged 6

One staff member will support the child.

One staff member will support the worker observe the session and write the report.

Full travel, time paid at £13.50 per hour, and mileage is paid (.45 a mile) from the moment you leave home.

Experience
Applicants must have experience as a Supervised Contact Worker/Family worker or a similar role.

Qualified to a minimum of L3 in Childcare or Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.

Must have SEN experience with ASC, none verbal with personal care needs.

You must be a car driver and have access to a car.

To provide child focused supervision of children's contact with family and carers, working within the terms of court orders and referring agencies, conditions of contact and as far as possible, in partnership with parents/carers.

To provide concise, relevant and accurate recording of contact sessions in line with agency guidelines.

To participate in training as appropriate.
