Accounts Assistant
A leading manufacturing company looking for Maternity Cover for an Accounts Assistant role to support the Interim Accounts Manager, in a varied role dealing with both the purchase and sales ledger.
Duties will include, but not restricted to:
- Basic office duties
- answering phones, filing, scanning
- Accurate filing and document management
- Matching purchase invoices to delivery notes
- Processing purchases invoices and credit notes
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and payments and receipts
- Processing expense claims and inputting credit card receipts
- Assist with month end and year end procedures
Skills and attributes:
Experience of working in an office environment and have had an involvement in an accounting role
Proficient IT skills, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Good organisational skills required with excellent attention to detail
Good initiative and ability to work on their own whilst also within a small team, reporting to the Accounts Manager
Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
