We are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Sports Coach. This role is of great importance to our work as an organisation.

GORSE has been extremely careful regarding its growth over the course of the last decade.

Taking into account projects which have been approved by government, we know that our trust will be made up of 15 establishments by September 2025.

In addition to this, we also operate GORSE SCITT and Leeds Teaching School Hub, important establishments in their own right.

Ensuring that each element of the trust, including the central team, performs at its best to ensure all children, especially those whose who are disadvantaged, have the opportunity to secure the Gift of Choice, is the central mission of GORSE.

Within our organisation we have established a long standing culture of excellence where 'high challenge, high support' is commonplace.

GORSE is an outstanding Multi-Academy Trust in Leeds, with over 6,000 students across its Six secondary academies and Two sixth-form colleges.

The Gorse Boat Club is open to all of its students.

The Trust is targeting success at National Schools and Henley Royal Regatta.

Rowing is a priority sport at Gorse and this singular focus, coupled with the scale of our talent pool, makes this one of the most exciting programmes in junior rowing.

Programmes are now established in all secondary academies, Elliott Hudson College and Elliot Hudson Boston Spa.

Our secondary academies will run programmes up to J16 level, with the most capable athletes from each secondary school progressing to the performance squad in Elliott Hudson.

We now need to add to our coaching staff and are seeking to appoint a second fulltime rowing coach to begin as soon as possible.

This colleague will be responsible for two schools of their own, as well as working in collaboration with our Director of rowing coach.
