Description
Wychbury Medical Group are looking to recruit a Clinical Support Assistant to work 16 hours per week at our Wychbury Medical Practice.
You must also be flexible to provide cover across the week for annual leave and sickness.The post holder to enter information on the computer and maintain an up to date patient history.
Duties will involve:
- Letter reading patientrelated clinical documents scanned into the clinical record. Signposting letters to the appropriate persons within the practice.
- Summarising patientrelated clinical documents
- Categorising electronic patient documents within Docman 10
- Scanning of letters and relevant correspondence into patient's notes
- Prepare courier post for collection
- Open external and courier post and distribute appropriately amongst staff team
- Liaising with Healthcare Professionals, other External Organisations.
- Attend and participate in team meetings
- Any other duties in line with post
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a certified clinical assistant program is preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Experience of using Emis and Docman systems
