Description
The role holder will support the Administration Team in the administration function of the Bristol Research & Innovation Laboratory (BRIL) of Toshiba Europe Limited (TEUR).
Key responsibilities of the role relate to:
Administration and financial reporting of major public-funded multiple partnership research projects including
- contract preparation and management
- financial planning and reporting
- budget monitoring and change management
- organizing events including final review meetings with partners
- supporting Project Leaders in the administration and reporting of deliverables
- liaising with external stakeholders and supporting pilot implementation
Managing BRIL's Export Control Compliance Program
- reference all exports and maintain register of such
- collate export material to be categorized for compliance with Toshiba Corporation and UK Export Control requirements
- liaise with inventors and attorneys
- manage the end to end process of protection of IP
- maintain internal database and track filings to ensure deadlines are met
Maintain administration records and documentation
- update database of all research reports, journals and publications
- provide related data to Directors and Program leaders for periodic reporting
Maintain BRIL Management System Documentation
- information security management
- corporate social responsibility
- standards of conduct
- prepare documentation for relevant internal and external audits
- assist with education program for employees relating to the above
Skills
- excellent organisational skills and capacity to coordinate a nub of workflows simultaneously, including the ability to prioritise, plan and complete own work activities
- good written communication skills enabling the production of reports that are clear, accurate and concise
- good interpersonal skills and a willingness to engage effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation and external partners
- good level of computer skills including the ability to produce complex reporting and information analysis
Others
- provide general support for all admin related tasks that the admin team undertake
