That is why we have this exciting new opportunity for a Timber Workshop Assistant.


Your next role


To work as a Timber Workshop Assistant within the timber workshop, manufacturing gates, sheds, as specified by the Team Leader of the department.


Woodworking machinery set up and to operate one or more woodworking machines to fabricate wooden parts for Sheds, Gates or other wood products.


This is an extremely varied hands-on role where you will be responsible for managing your day to day work load reporting to the Timber Workshop Team Leader.

We are looking for an energetic person that embraces change who will be part of a team.


Supported by the Team Leader you will ensure accurate timelines are met for production line manufacturing and lead time are met for our customers.


You will have strong people and communication skills with a knowledge to share with the team and your Team Leader.

We will support you in developing a career with Enterprise Works and Swindon Borough Council.

  • You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act "for the effective performance of a customerfacing role")._
