We are looking to expand our pool of Casual Retail and Hospitality Managers for race days and events.

As a casual manager you will:

  • Be a team player; working as an integral part of our casual race day management team to ensure everything is running smoothly
  • Be motivational; have the ability to mentor and lead your team
  • Be attentive; providing top class customer service at all times
  • Management experience in a high end food and drinks business or restaurant environment
  • Be knowledgeable in licensing, food hygiene and health & safety theory and implementation
  • Personal Licence Holder (desirable)
  • Customer focused at all times
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to maximise sales opportunities and recommend improvements
  • Ability to drive operational standards, championing attention to detail and exceed customer expectations
  • Proficient in IT
  • Positive and approachable manner
  • Team player qualities
  • Good oral communication
  • High level of attention to detail


This is a predominantly a race day role but there are opportunities to work additional hours outside of race meetings for our numerous varied non racing events.


Our casual team receive various benefits whilst working for arc including meals on a race day and tickets to race meetings and other events across the group.


Being a member of the arc casual family does not restrict you to working at just Uttoxeter Racecourse, if you want to gain experience in other venues there are many opportunities to work across our group.


Job Type:
Zero hours contract


Salary:
£12.50-£18.00 per hour
