The Careers Service wishes to appoint a Careers Consultant who will work across the Service but primarily supporting the Faculty of Biology, Medicine & Health.

The post holder will manage the work of the careers / employability team in the delivery of bespoke careers and employability activities for students primarily in the Schools of Health Sciences but also supporting students in the School of Medical Sciences where needed.

This will include the management of a careers adviser in the team and responsibility for improving the Graduate Outcomes for an assigned caseload of students, through Year Group activities and full programme activities.

The postholder will work with senior colleagues in the delivery of in-programme careers and employability guidance, embedding employability in the curriculum and enhancing the student experience.

They will also lead on supporting careers colleagues across the service with best practice insight and support for one of the Service's themed areas.

Alongside this, they will also provide high quality careers information, advice and guidance to students through online and face to face sessions for individuals and groups.
