TILT Education is an Alternative Provision based in Alsager which supports young people between the ages of 11-16 who struggle in a mainstream environment.
We cater for up to 12 pupils. Our class sizes are a maximum of 4 pupils.Your day will be varied; supporting pupils with challenging behaviour in the classroom to manage their own behaviour, engage with tasks set by the class teacher, and reach their potential.
You will take initiative, be resilient, and drive pupils to achieve and progress. You will work on learning activities, promote confidence, and encourage students to act independently to succeed.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Be an experienced Teaching Assistant with experience of with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties, autism, ADHD, or other disabilities and needs.
- Have experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour.
- Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills.
- Promote happiness, selfreliance, and encourage positive interactions.
