    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Employability Tutor to join our team in Oldbury.

    Nova Training is a leading provider of education and training services in the UK, with over 30 years of experience in delivering high-quality programs.

    We offer a range of programs, including study programs, apprenticeships, and provision for learners with special needs.

    As an Employability Tutor, you will be responsible for developing the employability skills of students and helping them gain the qualifications needed to succeed in the job market.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Create a supportive learning environment that encourages students to develop their skills and confidence.
    • Engage and motivate students across various programs.
    • Embed Functional Skills in all lessons.
    • Regularly assess student work against awarding body and Ofsted criteria.
    • Support and mentor students throughout their learning journey.

    Requirements:

    • Experience in delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2.
    • A relevant teaching qualification (minimum PTLLS).
    • An assessing qualification (Full TAQA or V1).
    • Teaching experience within 14-19 provision.
    • Understanding of Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework.
    • A full, clean UK driving license.
