Severfield Products & Processing Ltd (SPP) is a market leader in modular steel structures and buildings, supplying into the Nuclear, Rail, Power, Data Storage, and Material Handling sectors.
Due to this growth and expansion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team at Severfield (Products & Processing) at our office in York.
As a Procurement Co-ordinator you will become a critical member of the Procurement Team, supporting the business to assist procurement and expedite a range of key materials and components that are critical to the successful operation of Severfield.
You will be responsible for expediting a variety of project specific materials & services, as well as key in-direct factory consumables across multiple production facilities and construction sites, with a key goal of ensuring correct specification, adherence to budget and delivered on time.
You will be multi-skilled in both direct / in-direct procurement activities associated with a large, multi-site manufacturing operation and construction environment, ensuring that goods are procured efficiently and competitively.
To be successful in this role you will need to have at least one year's procurement experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities along with efficient time management skills.
You will need to be able to build strong relationships as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
