An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual to join us as an Office and Compliance Team Leader within the Catering Administration Team.

We are looking for an efficient and motivated administrator/secretary to provide full secretarial and administrative support to the Catering Management and wider Department.

The individual will have strong organisational and leadership skills to lead the Administration team to provide an efficient, comprehensive service.


Working in a challenging and constantly changing environment, you will need to have excellent administrative, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.


You will also need to possess the ability to multi task at a high level, pay close attention to detail and work on your own initiative.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the skills required to manage the workload in a proactive and effective manner whilst motivating and leading the Administration team to success.

Duties will include a full range of administrative tasks, including:

  • Maintain accurately all information data in the catering administration computer system so that it is readily available to analysis and use by appropriate persons only.
  • Ensure that all communications, messages etc that come in to catering are dealt with in a clear and concise way. Written, verbal and electronic.
  • Responsible for supervising the administration team and ensure that the
administration function is staffed during office hours.

  • Manage rota's in an electronic system and organise staff cover.
  • Analyse data received and other information and present to the Catering
Management Team with recommendations of improvements to the business.

  • Maintain all confidential records in an appropriate way in line with Trust guidelines and the Data Protection Act. See that no unauthorised persons have access to confidential records.
  • Coordinate regular and adhoc meetings, in advance and supplement with the production of agendas, minutes and action plan including effective minutetaking, transcription and distribution at all meetings, including investigations and hearings.
  • Produce letters, memos, and associated documents to a high standard.
  • Train new staff in the use of catering software systems.
