African Movie Channel is a fast-paced organisation, and the Scheduler And Channel Assistant will be required to support the Channel Managers in the day-to-day running of our TV channels, while creating and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and delivery of schedules in accordance with prescribed timelines.

Strong data entry and administration skills
Willing to learn new technology and systems
Meticulous attention to detail
Experience in Microsoft Word & Excel
Structured & methodical mindset
Strong communication, both verbal and written
Able to work to multiple tight deadlines
Effective time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload
Ability to demonstrate initiative, work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
Proactive approach and enthusiastic team player
Must be UK resident

Job specifications/responsibilities

Assist in creating monthly programmes schedules for AMC channels
Full responsibility for the planning of FAST (Free Ad-Supported TV) Channel
Acting as the primary daytoday contact for channels' administration
Building up an extensive knowledge of content library
Maintaining library of content which increases regularly and requires regular update
Creating documentation for company meetings
Ensuring completed schedules & content are delivered to the Playout centre
Scheduling and maintaining of promotions, commercials, and other interstitial items
Updating and maintaining the programme database
Staying ahead of competition via research and reporting to managers and directors
Assisting with content acquisition
Quality analysis of content acquired
Working closely with editors to ensure company quality compliance
Maintaining content storage options
Preparing licensing documents for suppliers & customers
