Applicants must:
Hold QCF Level 5 Diploma in Playwork or Child Care, Learning and Development, or

Hold a relevant occupational qualification in early years' education, social work, nursing, teaching or health visiting, at an equivalent level or

Already be employed as an Assistant/Deputy Leader within the industry, hold QCF Level 3 in Playwork or Child Care, Learning and Development and be willing to work towards QCF Level 5 Diploma in Playwork.

Have two years experience working with 4-12 year olds in a play, education, youth or day care setting.

An awareness of current childcare legislation and Minimum Standards for Day Care and Childminding for Children Under Age 12.

Clean driving licence and access to a car.

Experience of developing, organising, co-ordinating and managing a child-centred play programme.

q Ability to work in a sensitive and confidential manner.

Part-time hours: 10-20 per week
