Accident Repair Centre Workshop Controller Required in Exeter

Basic Salary of up to £39,000

Monday to Friday ONLY

Our client, an established accident repair centre based in Exeter, is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join their team.

As a Workshop Controller, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality repairs.

Key Responsibilities of an Accident Repair Centre Workshop Controller:

Manage and coordinate the workflow in the workshop.
Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress.
Ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales and to a high standard.
Liaise with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required parts.
Monitor and control costs, ensuring profitability targets are met.
Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and customers.
Provide technical support and guidance to technicians.
Conduct quality checks on completed repairs.
Manage and resolve any customer concerns or complaints.

Previous experience in a similar Workshop Controller role within an accident repair centre.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Technical knowledge of vehicle repairs.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Proficiency in using workshop management systems.
Full UK driving licence.
