£13:00 per hour
40 hours per week

Do you like entertaining others and have the ability to organise fun and stimulating activities?

If this is you, then Sydmar Lodge Ltd are recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join our team at Sydmar Lodge, in Edgware.

Working as part of the overall team, your role is essential to the residents' sense of wellbeing and social stimulation playing a key part in ensuring the routines and daily activities they undertake are varied, invigorating and fun.

Sydmar Lodge is a Care Home for Jewish people, some knowledge of the religion is an advantage, however not essential.

The role requires you to create an energising environment that enables us to deliver exceptional allround care and support for our residents which will enable them to celebrate and embrace life.
Plan and devise imaginative, fun, and motivational activities that suit every interest and ability.
Source and book external entertainment in line with the Home's budget.
Review and evaluate the activities programme so that it is kept up to date and fit for purpose.
Work closely with residents, staff and others involved in the organising and the running of events.
Operate Social Media Accounts to reassure the families their loved ones are being entertained

You may be required to drive the mini bus, as we wish to continue exciting trips out (planned by yourself) once restrictions are relaxed.

Full support and training will be offered, but we do require you to have a full, clean driving licence

This role will require the post holder to enter a registered care home.

It is therefore a legal requirement for the post holder to prove their COVID-19 vaccination status by providing their COVID Pass or evidence of medical exemption.
