The role
As an Environmental Advisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We are looking for someone who has passion for the environment, sustainability and reducing waste.

You will be part of the Babcock Team to comply with environmental regulations and laws and the participation of their Planned Zero forty, carbon reduction programme.

The role is varied, but rewarding, in assisting with improving all aspects of environmental practices.


Day to day, you'll conduct regular audits, inspections and surveys, provide advice and guidance to sites, contractors and stakeholders, look at utilities such as gas, water electric and waste management to identify areas of improvement.


  • Data collection and data entry across various Land contracts
  • Provide support to the PZ40 delivery teams
  • Provide support to the Facilities Managers and their site teams, for the DSG Land Contract
  • Maintain legal compliance and support delivery of the Plan Zero 40 Sustainability Programme, for the DSG Land Contract

Essential experience of the Environmental Advisor

  • Data collection experience
  • Understanding of environmental legislation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • IT Proficient
  • Excellent communication skills


This is a full-time role and will be based from our Donnington site for a minimum of three days per week.

You will have the opportunity to work the other two days from home.
