Description

To ensure residents live in a clean and hygienic environment

and maintain high standards in the home.

Summary of main duties

Ø To maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the home

Ø To work to the cleaning rota provided.

Ø To be aware of and report any defects in equipment or facilities to the senior or manager on duty

Ø To ensure cleaning supplies are maintained, and a cleaning ordering list given to the manager on a regular basis.

Ø To observe general rules of safety in the home and to advise residents where necessary.

Equipment and facilities should be used in a safe and proper manner, and all hazards or defects should be reported to the senior or manager on duty.

All staff are to be aware of the Health and Safety Policy, Health and Safety Risk Assessments, COSH and Fire Risk Assessments

Ø To contribute towards the records and reports within the home. (i.e. accident books etc)

Ø All information relating to the residents and staff gained through your employment at Linden House is confidential. Disclosure to any unauthorised person is a serious disciplinary offence

Ø Linden House is committed to providing a service to the highest quality. The post holder will be expected to contribute to this aim
