An exciting opportunity has arisen within Poole Community Mental Health Team, Older Persons for an experienced medical secretary to join the team on a part time basis for 18.75 hours per week.

The service provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment and support for patients who have a severe and enduring mental health illness.

We are seeking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated member of staff to join our Community Team.

To provide a proactive approach in supporting the Consultant in carrying out their role including high quality secretarial support to the Consultant, their Team of medical staff and the Community Mental Health Team.


To be a point of contact for service users and carers telephoning the team, providing a professional and courteous service.

Your role will be to support comprehensive, effective and confidential secretarial and administrative service and to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient secretarial and administrative support to the wider clinical team
