Welder
Will need initial weld test and then a Zurich coding test

The following qualities/experience are essential:

Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately
Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes
Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours / nights / Weekends
Able to work on own initiative and seek out opportunities in line with level of responsibility
Must be a good team player, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Understands the basic Company Protocols with regard to accidents and Incident's investigations
Uncompromising approach to the implementation of safe systems of work
Where possible, adopts an innovative approach to enhancing safe systems of work
Awareness of Specification and other Contract documents
Understanding of manufacturing tolerances
Understands and implements the requirements of Inspection and Test Plans
Encourages ownership within the team and fosters a culture of Right First Time

Full fabrication of bespoke high integrity Ductwork components manufactured from Stainless and Mild Steel sheet thickness 2 to 3mm thick

Welding of QC1 Stainless steel and mild steel Ductwork:

Welding operations qualified to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017

The following qualities/experience are desirable:

Solution orientated individual, with ability to analyse risks and benefits of options to resolve identified issues. Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise and multitask
Capable of taking ownership of the works or a section of the works from start to finish, including the handover of the works

Perm position 18.64 per hour, 38 hours per week

Lodge is available for those over 50 miles
