INFRATEC are seeking a Driver / HIAB Operator to join our team.

In this role, you will transport equipment to highway maintenance and repair contracts and provide lifting duties to assist in the installation of technology systems.

Our Head Office is based in Middlesbrough, but the role will require UK wide travel and working away from home during working week will be required.

Main duties and responsibilities for this role will include:

• Delivery and collection of equipment from and to site.
• Operating Lorry mounted cranes to carry out lifts as per agreed lift plans.
• Managing tachograph in line with legislative requirements.
• Ensuring all health and safety requirements are adhered to whilst driving, loading, and unloading.
• Work flexibly and carry out any suitable duties.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Class 1 HGV License.
• Experience of Lorry Mounted crane operations.
• Experience of load and secure methods.
• Hold a CPC Card.
• Hold a Tacho Card.
• Hold a HIAB/Lorry Loader Certification ideally ALLMI Lorry Loader.
• General willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic, and flexible.
• Able to work as an individual and as part of a team.
• Good geographical knowledge of major motorways.

Desirable, but not essential as full training can be provided:

• ALLMI Lorry Loader or CPCS Lorry Loader.
• ALLMI Slinger / Signaller.
• IPAF 1B, 3A & 3B.

As well as a demonstrable practical aptitude, enthusiasm, flexibility, and an ability to adapt and learn on the job are of equal importance.

Based:
Middlesbrough but with extensive travel throughout the UK.

Hours: 45 hours per week.


Salary:
£30,500 to £45,000 per year including estimated overtime.

Experience:

• Driving: 3 years (preferred)

• HIAB/Lorry Loader certification (preferred)
