About you:
Main objectives of job:
- To Maintain Accurate Financial Records.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Provide effective communication of financial information across the charity.
- Complete the daytoday financial tasks for the charity.
Main duties:
- Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software (Liberty accounts).
- Processing invoices and expenses and making payments
- Raising invoices, posting all bank transactions, chasing debts, liaising with parents and schools.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a monthly basis.
Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for review by the Finance Manager or Chief Executive Officer.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring, providing insights and recommendations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, as well as internal financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with annual audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Communicate regularly with staff members and stakeholders regarding financial matters and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Chief Executive Officer.

- Report to Finance manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or charitable organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Create Hope.
Person Specification:
Skills/qualifications:
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- Experience and understanding of CRM.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or charitable organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good people skills, approachable manner, and willingness to invest time into people's lives.
