Production Operative

Join Our Dynamic Team in Hull, who are at the Forefront of Decorative Paint Manufacturing
Are you looking for a collaborative and supportive Production Operative role, that will allow you to work with high tech equipment, and produce some of the highest quality products in the UK?


Following significant investment to enhance our facilities, we are equipped with the finest technology to achieve our high-reaching goals, to satisfy our customers' needs.


We have multiple vacancies which are split between:

  • Permanent night shifts (Sunday to Thursday)
  • Vacancies on a 2shift rotating pattern (earlies & late's) working a 9day fortnight.
Further details surrounding shifts will be discussed during the interview stage. There will also be opportunity to work overtime as and where available.


Here's some of the other things you can look forward to

Batch Mixing: Precise measurement and combination of raw materials to produce paint

Hygiene: Conducting plant cleanliness and maintaining 6S standards

Equipment Operation: Handling automated machinery, including high-speed filling machines, packaging equipment, and large volume mixers

Quality Control: Upholding our quality standards through diligent visual inspections of products and packaging

Versatility: Flexibility in working across various manufacturing and filling operations

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a supportive and responsible team environment

Process Improvement: Actively participating in the enhancement of our manufacturing processes.


What should you bring to be successful in this role
-
Manufacturing Experience: Prior exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing setting, particularly in FMCG, is highly desirable
-
Technical Savvy: Familiarity with automated process controls, such as HMIs and Scada systems, is advantageous
-
Diligent: Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial
-
Process Knowledge: A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and a curiosity to learn more
-
Adaptability: Willingness to flexibly shift between roles and areas, with ample training and support provided
-
Team Spirit: A collaborative approach and excellent interpersonal skills
-
Motivation: A driven individual with a proactive work-ethic and the ability to meet production targets.
