Your key responsibilities will be:


  • Lead and motivate a team of 20+ workshop technicians, reviewing the daily tasks and ensuring that the team meets the targets and KPI's whilst completing the work required to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate day to day operations within workshop and liaise with internal departments to maximise efficiencies
  • Manage staff absences, approving holidays, manage staff meeting, review staff performance and skilltest potential new starters
  • Promote and lead the health, safety and welfare of all employees within the workshop
  • To provide duty of care to staff working under your control
  • To ensure all staff working under your control abide by the site rules
  • Ensure all vehicle are parked within SLA's provided by the individual Customer

To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous supervisory experience (essential)
  • Previous workshop experience (essential)
  • Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (essential)
  • Own a Full UK Driving Licence
  • Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office
  • Outlook and Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
