Description

• Develop trading opportunities and implement as commercially appropriate.
• Buying a multiproduct range of Lingerie and accessories
• Assist in the development of the supply base to ensure delivery of the strategy.
• Presenting in trade, sign offs and range direction with directors.
• Review WSSI on a weekly basis to review best / worst sellers.
• Maintain stock levels in line with company expectations.
• Constantly looking and researching for new products and opportunities (NPD).
• Ensure forecasting tools are kept up to date and relevant.
• Working closely with the business owner to ensure optimum availability of stock.
• Maintain and build relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Negotiating the best cost price to achieve departmental margin targets.
• Interpreting product trends.
• Managing the critical path to react to market changes and challenges
• Monitor, maintain and action competitor analysis (comp shops)
• Processing samples received (fits, development, shoots/meetings)
  Preparing samples for best sellers:
• Collating and preparing meeting samples
• Other duties as required

• Have a minimum of 1 years experience within Fashion Buying.
• Have strong Excel & Google sheet skills.
• Understanding the market place, target customer and key competitors.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised with the ability to manage a workload and prioritise where required.
• Attention to detail.
• Remains positive and resilient under pressure, adapts to change.
