Christ's College wishes to appoint a College Nurse and Wellbeing Adviser to strengthen student wellbeing, bring together current good practices and develop new wellbeing initiatives to provide effective student support.

St Andrew's Street, Cambridge, CB2 3BU

Salary:
£43,414 - £54,949 per annum

Vacancy type:
Permanent, Full Time, 36.25 hours per week


The role-holder will be a critical individual in enabling the College to deliver its commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of its undergraduate and postgraduate students.


The individual will be responsible for the health and wellbeing of our students by providing an effective, sympathetic and confidential medical care and advisory service.

They will deliver nursing provision during the week and triage and assess individualcases, providing care, guidance and referral as needed.

They will oversee counselling provision and lead on the development and implementation of a programme of wellbeing events.


The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to influence and win the confidence and trust of young people.
