Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;

Workshop-based to cover all types of fleet equipment to agreed skill levels.
***
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;

Providing support to others.
***
Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training & qualifications.
***
Able to take responsibility for vehicle defect inspections
***
To be available for emergency and/or winter call outs
***
Ability to use own initiative
***
Promote safe working practices and ensure Health and Safety
***
To undertake servicing and repairs to all equipment per the manufacturer's instructions at any designated workshop facilities.
***
Be able to work on own initiative and plan own workload
***
Willingness to undergo specialist equipment training by the equipment manufacturer.
***
Formal qualifications required

City and Guilds or Level 3 in automotive service and repair or equivalent
***
Skills required;
***
PC Literate
***
Knowledge;
***
Knowledge of company fleet vehicles
***
Personal qualities;
***
Enthusiasm, team player
***
Flexible in terms of hours worked and attitude
***
Previous good attendance
