Pension Operations Lead- Leeds, GB
A great opportunity to join a dynamic, vibrant consulting team, specialising in delivering data projects for some of the UK's largest pension schemes.
In this role you will manage the workflow for a team of 20 to 30 colleagues delivering projects (including GMP projects) for medium to large pension schemes.
You will also be responsible for reviewing the billing submissions of the wider team each month and maintaining suitable financial MI.

- Workflow management across a team of approximately 20 to 30 people
- Prioritising conflicting client demands
- Maintaining strong links with the wider operations team and leadership team
- Maintaining a highlevel overview of the status of all projects in the team, provide direction as appropriate to ensure quality and consistency and regularly update leadership
- Proactive monitoring and review of all aspects of the wider team's billing activities each month, reporting to Leadership
- Maintaining suitable management information about the profitability of projects and teams
- Ensuring quality standards are in place and followed, audit trails are fully documented, and that any errors and tracked and resolved in a timely manner
The essential skills/experience for this role are:
- UK defined benefit pensions knowledge
- A strong background in workflow and team management
- A strong excellence ethic
- Experience of managing several projects simultaneously
- Ability to identify and efficiently resolve issues
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Clear, concise and confident communication skills
- Experience of managing, coaching and mentoring individual team members
- Have a flexible approach to working hours when necessary
