To perform the following tasks, and others within your limitations. To know and understand when to get support from your colleagues.

To treat patients with care, respect and dignity.

BP monitoring

BP recording

Bloods

Booking patients in/ appointments

Urine samples, inc diabetic samples

Flu - adults & children

Assist with minor surgery following adequate training

Shingles vaccinations

Wound referral and management

Pneumo vaccinations

Stitch removal

B12 injections

Diabetic reviews

Know how to use PSDs and have a solid understanding of them

Dressing changes, inc ordering dressings

use the clinical system and know which templates to use

Clinical Waste Procedure

DMARD template

Room checks (GP rooms and OOD stock checks), clean down your room and equipment after use

Emergency box check

Butterfly needle bloods

Ordering needles/vacutainers etc

Dressings ordering PRX

Bloods for collection

ECGs

Make appointments with patients as appropriate

Understand and follow surgery policies and protocols
