Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr Judith Sleeman conducting research for a Muscular Dystrophy UK funded project entitled "Involvement of the paraspeckle nuclear domain in Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1".


The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in cell or molecular biology with expertise in mammalian cell culture and microscopy.

The post is available for 3 months full-time, or for a longer period part-time, starting as soon as possible.


Applications are particularly welcome from women, people from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented in research posts at the University.
